Through exploring nature, we are exploring ourselves. We are exploring a connection, a feeling, an experience that is unique to every individual and that is constantly evolving as we grow. This project explores my roots, my experiences, and my evaluation as a creative through a multidisciplinary approach, working in harmony with nature. I believe that leaving nothing but footprints isn’t enough. To change our future we must have a positive impact. We must reflect and grow, change and evolve.

Rooted Souls has been designed to challenge your approach. An instillation which allows you to think and reflect, to explore and challenge your beliefs around nature, your body, and your impact.

This project combines both physical and digital methods, exploring photography alongside paintings, to create large scale screen-printed instillation pieces using waste bamboo fabric, natural inks and dyes, and bamboo poles to ensure sustainability runs throughout the heart of the project.
